ARADEX has been a reliable and competent partner for over 30 years as a pioneer in high-performance drive technology. While the company’s roots are in industrial control and drive technology for production machines, the focus has changed to mobile drive technology since several years now.
ARADEX is part of the Chinese WEICHAI Group since the end of 2019 and strengthens the corporate group primarily in the area of new energies / electric drive solutions. Irrespective of this, our corporate culture is still primarily characterized by the company’s founders and now around 80 employees at our site in Lorch near Stuttgart.
ARADEX has focused on the electrification and hybridization of commercial vehicles, construction machines and special ships. Our core competence lies in the development and production of converters (inverters), DC/DC converters and electric motors as well as holistic powertrain optimization. Our drive solutions are characterized in particular by perfect tuning, clever technology features and above-average efficiency. As part of a holistic drive train optimization, we can also arrange and optimally integrate other drive components such as batteries, fuel cells, gearboxes, etc. from our partner network.

In our understanding, electrical energy converters, such as inverters and DC/DC converters, are among the key components of electric or hybrid solutions of commercial vehicles and mobile working machines. Going beyond the pure basic functions and using the basic structure of FPGA and microcontroller, we use our inverters and DC/DC converters for additive “smart” functions. For example, with VirtualSensorTechnology we make every actuator its own sensor in high resolution. Thus, we offer you the tool to collect valuable data in your specific application and optionally even use it in a direct process optimization.
