Tan Xuguang: Collaborate with China Telecom to Create a Benchmark for Digitalization in High-end Equipment Industry

On the afternoon of June 18, 2023, Shandong Heavy Industry and China Telecom Group held a forum on deepening strategic cooperation and signed the intention of the second phase of the "Concerted Cloud" project in Beijing. Ke Ruiwen, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of China Telecom Group, and Tan Xuguang, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry, attended the forum and witnessed the signing.

Tan Xuguang said that he hopes that both sides will make the strategic cooperation more practical, deepened, and expanded, accelerate the construction of "Concerted Cloud" of Shandong Heavy Industry, jointly establish a digital benchmark for China's high-end equipment industry that is independent, controllable, safe, reliable, and replicable, and continuously explore global cooperation.

Ke Ruiwen said that the strategic cooperation between the two sides has achieved significant results and has broad prospects. He hopes to further pragmatically promote and jointly innovate, provide Shandong Heavy Industry with a comprehensive intelligent solution for cloud-network integration, create a benchmark scenario for intelligent manufacturing, and promote high-quality development of enterprises.

Tang Ke, Deputy General Manager of China Telecom, and Sun Shaojun, Deputy General Manager of Shandong Heavy Industry, signed a contract of intent for the second phase of "Concerted Cloud" project on behalf of both sides. Zhang Quan, Vice Chairman of Weichai Power, and others attended the event. The attendees visited the China Telecom Museum before the meeting.
