Tan Xuguang: Shandong Heavy Industry Group and ZF Will Carry out In-depth Strategic Cooperation in all dields

In the afternoon of April 23, Peter Laier, member of the board of directors of ZF Group and head of commercial vehicle solutions division, visited Shandong Heavy Industry Group. Tan Xuguang attended the meeing. The two sides carried out in-depth exchanges on new technology fields such as AMT, new energy electric drive axle, high-end marine power and intelligent driving, and reached a comprehensive strategic cooperation intention.

ZF is the largest strategic supplier of Sinotruk, and we are very glad that our old friends have come to Shandong to visit. Sinotruk's heavy-duty truck sales last year continued to remain the first in the Chinese industry, and Weichai's high-end marine power grew rapidly. We are very willing to work with ZF to cultivate strategic increment, jointly cope with global competition, and join hands to move towards the world class.

Sinotruk’s Jinan-Laiwu green digital intelligent manufacturing base has set a new benchmark in the global commercial vehicle industry and left me a deep impression. Since the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement last year, bilateral cooperation has reached a new height. We will set up a dedicated team to deepen multi-field strategic cooperation with Shandong Heavy Industry, collaborate on research and development of advanced technologies, and jointly meet the challenges of new markets, new energy and new science and technology.

Before the meeting, Peter Laier and his team visited the Sinotruk Laiwu exhibition hall and the intelligent network (new energy) heavy-duty truck factory.
