From August 15 to 16, Ye Jianjun, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited Qingdao and Linyi for a research trip. He engaged in discussions with Shandong Port Group regarding potential collaborations, visited the Group’s first secretary stationed in Yinan County, and conducted research at affiliated enterprises.

On August 15, Ye led a team to Shandong Port for in-depth discussions. The two parties engaged in detailed conversations on product coordination for international markets, technological innovation, and smart port construction, exploring new models and opportunities for business collaboration. Both sides expressed their commitment to deepening strategic cooperation and becoming a model for collaboration among state-owned enterprises in Shandong Province. Before the meeting, Ye visited Lovol Heavy Industry's intelligent excavator manufacturing plant, Weichai (Qingdao) Science and Technology Research Institute, and Weichai (Qingdao) High-End Marine Equipment Manufacturing Center.

On the morning of August 16, Ye Jianjun visited Xinji Town in Yinan County to meet with the first secretary stationed by Shandong Heavy Industry and to investigate Fengtou Village’s locust farming project, which is managed by the village Party branch, as well as the village’s infrastructure improvements. Ye emphasized that Shandong Heavy Industry will fully support the work of the first secretary to help promote rural revitalization. He urged the first secretary to be hands-on and work diligently, focusing on three key areas: Party Building — Strengthen leadership by setting an example for other Party members; Income Growth — Focus on industrial revitalization to boost income for both farmers and the village collective; Village Culture — Continue advancing the “United Heart” initiative to enhance the village’s spiritual and cultural development.

In the afternoon of August 16, Ye visited Strong Construction Machinery to review grassroots Party building and business operations, offering his full approval. He stressed the importance of talent as the foundation, urging the company to improve talent acquisition, development, and retention to boost employees' sense of belonging. He also emphasized the need for strong management to address weaknesses and capitalize on strengths, fostering a passionate work environment. Furthermore, he highlighted that Party building should remain at the core, deeply integrated with business operations and closely tied to group activities, creating a unique identity for the company.
