At "Quality Olympics", Weichai Wins 3 More Gold Awards

The 50th ICQCC was successfully held recently. Three QC projects of Weichai made a strong breakthrough and won three gold awards at one go, achieving a new breakthrough in the number of awards in the competition.

With the theme of "Continuously Advancing QC Group Activities, towards a Brighter Future for the World", 590 high-quality projects covering manufacturing, services, healthcare and other industries competed on the same stage. Three QC projects of Weichai employees, namely "Improving the first-time Pass Rate of Painting on the Finishing Line", "Reducing the Failure Rate of Cylinder Head Airtightness Test", and "Reducing the cleaning time of 12M55 Engine Block", were presented in English throughout the event, which not only demonstrated the employees' solid professional skills and foreign language proficiency, but also won high recognition from the international judges with their hard-core quality improvement achievements, becoming a vivid footnote to Chinese enterprises' deep cultivation of quality management.

The ICQCC is an international conference with a large number of participants, a wide range of industries and strong cohesion in the field of quality management, and is known as the "Olympics of quality". In 2023-2024, Weichai won a total of six gold and one silver medals in the event.
