A Benchmark of China's Intelligent Manufacturing! Weichai Selected as one of the First Batch of Leading Smart Factories

The 2025 World Conference on Intelligent Manufacturing kicks off in Nanjing on November 27. At the conference, Weichai's "High-End Engine Intelligent Factory Based on Digital Intelligence Lean Model" project was successfully included in the first batch of leading intelligent factory cultivation list, becoming a benchmark for the intelligent transformation of China's equipment manufacturing industry.

A total of 15 enterprises were included in the first batch of the national "Leading Intelligent Factory" cultivation list, representing the highest level of intelligent manufacturing in China. Previously, five units of Weichai and its subsidiaries were included in the list of outstanding intelligent factories. This advancement from "outstanding" to "leading" further highlights Weichai's leading edge in digital and intelligent transformation. At the meeting, Weichai, along with other selected enterprises, jointly launched the initiative of the Leading Action Plan to promote the formation of a synergistic development ecosystem in the field of intelligent manufacturing as an industry leader and inject new impetus into the construction of a manufacturing power.

Weichai's confidence in leading the way stems from the deep practice of "digitalization, intelligence and lean". At the 2025 World Intelligent Manufacturing Expo held concurrently, Weichai showcased the deep application of AI in various business scenarios through five sections: AI research and development, AI manufacturing, AI sales and service, AI product solutions, and AI power.

From traditional manufacturing to AI-driven, Weichai takes on the responsibility of a state-owned enterprise through hard work.
