On the morning of May 8, Wang Zhijian visited KION Group's Aschaffenburg production base to tour the Linde high-end forklift production site and conducted an on-site inspection of the progress of the fully automated logistics transformation project provided by Dematic. In the afternoon, Wang Zhijian met with Mohsen Sohi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KION Group, and Rob Smith, CEO, to listen to management reports on operational status and key initiatives. Wang Zhijian emphasized that KION Group must further enhance synergistic development with relevant enterprises under Shandong Heavy Industry in sales channels, supply chains, and business models to continuously elevate overall competitiveness in the global market.

On May 9, Wang Zhijian visited Linde Hydraulics to tour the new hydraulic transmission platform products and high-end hydraulic manufacturing base. He listened to management reports and held a symposium with R&D personnel, focusing on accelerating the implementation of the three major transformations in "market, product, and cost". Wang Zhijian pointed out that Linde Hydraulics should concentrate advantageous resources to strengthen product performance and quality, enhance deep synergy between China and Germany in R&D, markets, and supply chains, and continuously improve R&D efficiency and operational effectiveness to provide global customers with more competitive hydraulic powertrain products.

On May 14, Wang Zhijian visited Baudouin, touring the Baudouin factory in France and the newly expanded large-bore engine factory. He received a report from management regarding the company's business performance and strategic outlook. Wang Zhijian stated that in recent years, Baudouin has accelerated its strategic transformation, maintained robust growth, and experienced rapid development in strategic sectors such as power generation products for data centers. He stressed the need to accelerate the capacity expansion project for large-bore engine products originating in Europe, strengthen market development and application engineering capabilities for data centers, and enhance brand awareness and synergistic effects.

During his inspection, Wang Zhijian visited partners such as Bosch, Schaeffler, and Infineon to conduct in-depth research on cutting-edge industry technologies and future industrial developments, further deepening collaborative innovation.

On May 11, Wang Zhijian met with Stefan Hartung, CEO of Bosch Group, for discussions. They visited Bosch's chip and PEM hydrogen electrolyzer factories to gain detailed insights into the layout of commercial vehicle chips, electronic and electrical architectures, advanced driving assistance, and the latest developments in the hydrogen energy industry.

On May 12, Wang Zhijian held talks with Klaus Rosenfeld, CEO of Schaeffler. They toured Schaeffler's motor, inverter, and gearbox factories and laboratories, reaching a consensus on further deepening cooperation in the new energy sector.

On May 12, Wang Zhijian engaged in a discussion with Peter Schiefer, Executive Vice President of Infineon. They visited Infineon's laboratories to explore the future direction of chips and controllers for next-generation new energy commercial vehicles and electric drive systems.
