The Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue working with other ministries, agencies and local authorities to improve mechanisms and policies, enhance the business environment, advance green development and create favorable conditions for domestic and foreign enterprises. He said he hopes Shandong Heavy Industry will continue strengthening practical cooperation with Vietnamese partners, deepen its local presence and set a model for cooperation between the two countries in manufacturing, new energy and green logistics.

Sun Fenglei said Vietnam is currently accelerating infrastructure upgrading and the green energy transition, creating strong alignment with the technological strengths and industrial chain advantages of China's high-end equipment manufacturing industry. Shandong Heavy Industry’s decision to host this event in Hanoi underscores a practical commitment to expanding its green intelligent manufacturing reach from ASEAN to the global market. He said he hopes Shandong Heavy Industry and its Vietnamese partners will deepen industrial synergy and advance ecosystem co-building. The China Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam is committed to remaining a solid and reliable service home, working with all parties to explore new growth space in the green intelligent industry and build a new future of mutual benefit and win-win results between China and Vietnam.

In his speech, Wang Zhijian said the global equipment manufacturing industry is undergoing profound change, and that China's green and intelligent technologies, market and ecosystem have matured rapidly and are now among the world's leaders. Shandong Heavy Industry has built leading core competitive advantages across the entire new energy industry chain, spanning diversified and integrated power systems as well as a full range of complete vehicles and complete machines for all scenarios. The group is focusing on high-end intelligent equipment and smart solutions, built on intelligent connected technologies and guided by AI enablement, and is leading the industry in intelligent driving, smart construction, smart agriculture, smart logistics and smart energy. Shandong Heavy Industry is entering a new phase of global development centered on localization, green transformation and intelligentization. Together with partners, it will build a value-driven, growth-oriented new ecosystem and move from product exports toward industrial localization.

At the conference, Wang Zhijian joined global partners in releasing the Initiative on Jointly Building a New Ecosystem for the Green and Intelligent Equipment Industry: We will stay true to our original aspiration and mission in green and intelligent development and use cutting-edge technologies to support global sustainable development; We will deepen all-around coordination across the industrial chain and build a new industrial ecosystem based on co-building, sharing and win-win results; We will work hand in hand to drive the global equipment industry toward a greener, smarter and more future-oriented direction.

The conference featured a project signing ceremony covering SOFC, electric bus, electric heavy-duty truck, commercial vehicle powertrain, AI bulldozer, intelligent agricultural machinery and electric light-duty truck projects, further deepening global strategic cooperation in green intelligent equipment.

Shandong Heavy Industry presented a range of new achievements in green intelligent equipment.

Weichai unveiled its microgrid solution for the first time, targeting urgent market demand driven by faster global computing infrastructure buildout, broader adoption of zero-carbon parks and intelligent transformation upgrades in remote mining areas. By deeply integrating a hybrid power station, mobile photovoltaic, energy storage, integrated storage-charging unit and an SOFC (solid oxide fuel cell) power generation system, among other core equipment, it provides customers with a one-stop, deployable, end-to-end integrated power and energy solution with lower cost, low emissions and high reliability. At the same time, Weichai’s energy solution for mining scenarios, integrating generation-grid-load-storage-control, was exhibited for the first time.

SINOTRUK presented its integrated new energy ecosystem solution, overseas application scenarios and aftermarket service system. SINOTRUK has now established a new energy vehicle lineup spanning three technology pathways — battery electric, range-extended and hydrogen fuel — and covering the full spectrum from light-duty truck to heavy-duty truck. The lineup is fully adapted to diverse domestic and overseas application scenarios, including cross-border trunk transportation, port distribution, mining engineering and cold-chain transportation. The company also offers multiple energy replenishment, charging and battery swapping solutions, creating an integrated ecosystem solution that combines vehicles, energy, Number and services.

SHACMAN introduced its Shacman E Series products, covering three mainstream routes: battery-electric charging, underbody battery swapping and hybrid power. The lineup is maturely suited to core Southeast Asia heavy-duty truck application scenarios, including long-haul trunk logistics, short-haul port drayage, engineering construction, urban construction concrete mixing and mine transportation, creating a new energy green transport capacity matrix that covers all scenarios and technology pathways.

Zhongtong Bus introduced the all-new M6E European-style wide-body light bus for the high-end business travel market, building a next-generation mobility solution with strong product capabilities. Built on a dedicated light bus platform, the new vehicle features the signature Galaxy family design language and achieves a drag coefficient as low as 0.37. At the same time, its independent luxury cockpit, high-rigidity cage-body safety structure and multi-dimensional NVH noise reduction technology work together to create a luxurious and quiet driving and riding environment, while delivering the advantages of a flexible and controllable body.

Shantui presented its smart construction solution and a full range of new energy construction machinery equipment. The SSC2.0 intelligent driving system has already achieved commercial deployment of L4 advanced unmanned operations. By integrating intelligent machinery, Shantui has built a full-process construction solution covering earthmoving, leveling and compaction, and has completed more than 70 smart construction projects worldwide. With a full range of battery electric and AI equipment, including bulldozer, loaders, Excavator and road roller, it provides multiple energy solutions.
