Modular design
- High universality: Many parts of WP3.7 series engines may be directly used for WP4.1 series engines, and the two series have the same installation interface, delivering great convenience for repair and maintenance.

Lightweighted design
- Engine weight only 400kg. Due to enormous CAE analysis capability, high strength and reliability are ensured with design optimized.
- A good many parts such as flywheel housing, water pump, oil sump, rocker arm cover, and intake pipe are made of plastic or aluminum alloy.
Excellent NVH performances
- Engine body reinforcement rib, silicone oil clutch-equipped fan, high-accuracy gears, as well as combustion optimization design reduce further engine noise and vibration.
Ultra-low fuel consumption
- Minimum fuel consumption is 196g/kW•h, which is 2~3g/kW•h lower than that of competing products.
- Engine speed range for economical fuel consumption is extended to 1,100-1,800rpm.
More powerful
- Excellent climbing performance and overtaking capacity: Maximum torque 520N.m and reserved torque up to 30%.
- High driving-off and acceleration performances: Optimized turbocharger design, and great torque at low engine speed (Torque 470N.m at engine speed 1,000 rpm; Maximum torque 560N.m).
High adaptability
- No power loss up to altitude 2,800 meters. Super low power loss under general operation conditions up to altitude 4,500 meters.
- No start failure with ambient temperature below -20°C.
Good adaptability
- Small package and light weight, ideal power choice for trucks having a wheel base of 3.8-5.2m.
- Oil sump can be installed in the front or rear, depending on in-vehicle arrangement requirement.
